Chicago Farmer — People N’ Places
For over a decade, folk singer/songwriter Cody Diekhoff, performing as “Chicago Farmer” has been driving the highways and back roads of America as a solo artist sharing his story and connecting with people through his own style of poetic, sing-a-long folk music. Profoundly influenced by John Prine, Cody has built a reputable career writing and performing songs about his life, travels, and experiences, some with humorous lyrics and others with more serious social commentary, meant to inspire and entertain.
Now Chicago Farmer is “The Chicago Farmer Band”, bringing a fresh approach to Cody’s new and classic folk songs, featuring Cody Diekhoff on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Ed Anderson on electric guitar and banjo, Mike Davidov on upright and electric bass, and Nick Nepomiachi on drums. “I’m looking forward to cutting loose and playing music with my friends and sharing these songs in a whole different light,” said Cody. “I’ll still be doing my folk antics, while encouraging fans to dance, groove, and have fun.” Learn more about The Chicago Farmer Band at
