David Olney “Red Tail Hawk” from “DUTCHMAN’S CURVE” album (2010)
Enjoy “Red Tail Hawk” as heard on David Olney’s “DUTCHMAN’s CURVE” album (Deadbeet Records, 2010).
This video was shot in and around David’s home in Nashville, TN. The song was inspired by the style of painter Alfred Durer, where objects get smaller and smaller within each other (like a gleam in reflection of eye).
In David’s words:
“To me, this is about a shifting point of view. The hawk flying in circles in the sky becomes a reflection in a woman’s eye. The highway in a foreign land becomes the lifeline in someone’s hand. A heartbeat turns into a love song and raindrop becomes a river.”
