    This was a hit song Ian Tyson wrote for Jerry Jeff Walker. Iconic country and western singer Ian Tyson has written some incredible songs in his career of 50+ years. His tune “Someday Soon” has been recorded by Judy Collins and Suzy Bogguss. CBC voted his song “Four Strong Winds” as the all-time #1 song. Ian Tyson is Canadian and currently lives in Alberta. He was a member of the popular folk duo Ian & Sylvia. Ian and Sylvia were married and raised a family together, before divorcing. During the 1970s, Ian Tyson made the shift to country and western music. He owns and operates a cattle ranch and enjoys cowboy poetry. He has written a book of young-adult fiction about his song “La Primera”, called La Primera: The Story of Wild Mustangs.
