The Littlest Birds met up with their good friend, photographer and filmmaker Sam Slater, for an afternoon session in a high alpine meadow in the Eastern Sierra of California. “Starlight” is an original tune written by banjo player Sharon Martinson and released this year on their live album “Live & Lucky” which Gideon Thomas calls “a wonderful record — full of life, love, and ideas, and a band who love what they do and give that love to audiences, whether live or on record.”
