Willie Nile House Of A Thousand Guitars (making of the album)
The making of Willie Nile’s new album House Of A Thousand Guitars. Willie Nile has been a singer/songwriter since the 1970s. It took several years until his self-titled debut was released in 1979. Wille Nile was backed by Patti Smith’s band on the first album. Willie Nile has toured and performed with The Who and his friend Bruce Springsteen. Compared to Bob Dylan, Willie Nile is considered a “God” in Sweden, where his songs have been covered by countless artists. Nile’s primary guitarist on his new material is Andy York, from John Mellencamp’s band and Jason & The Scorchers.
