Everyone knows that summer time means festival time. Unlike the majority of my compadres, I have not attended one. Wakarusa will be my very first festival and I’m pumped! Mumford & Sons, EZ brothers, Ben Harper, and so many more concerts that i just cannot wait for! Last years lineup was amazing and I know that this year will be even more spectacular.
Now, even though I have never attended Wakarusa, I have heard plenty of stories about the great times by the river, staying up all night at camp, and jammin to all the amazing talent that’s sure to be there year after year. I think I would be a great correspondent for Wakarusa because it’s my first festival and I want to make the most of it! I’m caravanning down with dozens of people that attend all sorts of festivals every summer. They’ve already made sure to give me a list of gear to bring and camping supplies in general. I haven’t been camping in years so that’s another reason I’m extra excited!
I worked at a summer camp in Ozark, Arkansas a few years back and the place is gorgeous. Beautiful mountains, amazing music, and great friends….June 2nd through the 5th will be a weekend to remember and I’m sure after this trip that it will be an annual occurance!
