Watch Richie and Rosie’s New Video for “HoneyBee”

As Richie and Rosie prepare to release their new album Nowhere in Time on November 6, they’ve exclusively shared a video for new tune “HoneyBee” with No Depression. The song itself is a plaintive ballad about missing a lover, and finds the duo of Richie Sterns and Rosie Newton sharing delicate vocal harmonies over a lush backdrop of fiddle and guitar. 

The track’s simplicity is echoed in the new video, in which the pair stands at the entrance of a barn performing singing into a single microphone. It’s clearly a personal song for the two musicians, as Stearns explains that he wrote the song after his girlfriend moved across the country.

“I wrote ‘HoneyBee’ to call my true love back to me,” Stearns says “If it works the gods will smile in the heavens.”
