What If?

What if, Jerry Douglas asks us in the title of his latest album (see review in the slideshow) – and isn’t that such a great question in music? What if I try something no one’s ever done on this instrument? What if I sing about something no one’s willing to tackle right now? What if we push beyond the boundaries of genre and create something entirely new? We love that question, and all the answers that bubble up from roots musicians who aren’t afraid to ask it.
