If you ever happen to be in the ‘piney woods’ of Gods country in Northeast Texas and have a chance to see ‘White Trash Wannabees’ you will not be disappointed. This band is the real deal. Over the last decade-( need verification) ‘White Trash’ has racked up a very impressive amount of gigs from opening for David Allen Coe, Randy Rodgers, and having air play on (98.9 need verification) and headlined numerous gigs(#).
‘White Trash was founded by brothers Donnie and Dustin Dodson of Linden, TX. Donnie acting as lead vocals and rhythm/lead guitarist (a very accomplished guitarist I might add) and Dustin laying down sick bass lines to accompany the drum rhythm. Although the percussion section of this band has changed over the years, one thing remains the same, Donnie and Dustin will rock out regardless of the percussion.
