    Whether it’s Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Arlo Guthrie, the Seeger family, or any of thousands of folk artists influenced by Woody, I credit his personal influence as an uncompromising artist of vision and integrity as the greatest reason for his influence on modern American music. The songs he wrote surely come in a close second.
