Word on the Street

Everyone seems to be buzzing about a new disc about to drop form Galax, Virginia-based Dori Freeman, and it’s not even set for release until next week. Nonetheless, our pal Mike Seely has that bee in his bonnet and has some glowing words about it in this week’s lead review. Beyond that, there’s new stuff from the Pines, a remastered reissue (with bonus tracks!) from the Magic Sam Blues Band, and some classic performances from the late, great Nico.
