World Cafe Welcomes Cincinnati
The Hiders.
It’s always a big deal when a local band does good and makes it onto national airwaves, but no one in Cincinnati expected three locally-based music acts to make it onto the same national show, NPR’s World Cafe, within the span of two weeks.
The show welcomed Daniel Martin Moore on Tuesday, March 3rd and listeners were treated to a couple of tunes from his recent album “Stray Age” as well as a new song off the forthcoming EP that he’s working on with cellist Ben Sollee.
The Hiders showed up the very next day and performed tracks from it’s latest release, “Penny Harvest Field”.
Then there’s today session with The Heartless Bastards ,who managed to stop by and record a session in the midst of a busy tour.
All three sessions are available to stream at NPR.org. Be sure to also check out the web only extras too!
So, which Cincinnati band will show up on the World Cafe next?
