The Couch by Couchwest festival got off to a rocking bang with Brooklyn’s The End Men.
Followed by something a little gentler for the Sunday morning hungover crowd courtesy of Austin Lucas.
To make this festival as interactive as possible, we ask for lots of twitter and Facebook feedback and comments (and, let’s face it, jackassery), plus we ask our followers to send us photos of how they are spending CXCW. While people are often understandably reluctant to post photos of themselves on a random web site, they have no problems posting photos of their pets. Here is Pumpkin the cat owned by @toomuchcountry. “As a kitten, we had no idea how prophetic the name would be.”

We ended the day with Mic Harrison and the High Score performing their song “Colonel is Dead” live from the dirtiest motel in Tennessee.
Overall we posted 20 different music videos, 11 photos of people and pets enjoying CXCW, and 7 CXCW Haikus (part of our music give away with Yer Bird Records). To preview tomorrow at CXCW…..uh…..I’m not sure what we are posting. We kind of make things up as we go. We will post at least 20-25 music videos, some photos, some haikus, and maybe some other crazy stuff. Musicians, please keep the videos coming! See our submissions page for more info.
