    Just a little Friday post to remind you that Dolly Parton is the best, now and forever. Amen. Also, “Jolene” has an incredible arrangement. How wonderfully 70s. That little string echo (and is it overlaid with pedal steel?) is the best damned subtle hook ever written.

    Oh, and what the hey, let’s just post Dolly’s first ever TV appearance. Look how conservatively she’s dressed! But her hair is still giant. And amazing.
