Stirring Singer-Songwriters
This week, we’re turning the spotlight on a handful of singer-songwriters who are delivering some truly stirring work. First up is John Paul White, who hails from the fertile musical landscape of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Probably best known (until now) for his work as one half of the Civil Wars, White’s solo debut is, according to our reviewer, “a stunner.” Another solo debut is coming from American Aquarium frontman BJ Barham. We also have new stuff from the great Lydia Loveless, and another set from the delightful Cass McCombs. It’s all music to turn your feelers on.
